2018 Yale Young African Scholars Programme

Congratulations to Aderemi-Fawoye Daniel who has been admitted into the Yale Young African Scholars Program (YYAS) in Rwanda! This program will be held at Gashora Girls’ Academy from 29th July until 7th August 2018.
The selection committee was extremely impressed by the outstanding achievements, ambitions, and enthusiasm of this year’s applicants. The 2018 applicant pool was larger than ever before with over 1,800 candidates. They made for a very diverse and competitive group of applicants representing 40 different African countries and hundreds of secondary institutions. This made it very difficult to choose just 300 candidates.  As a chosen participant, Daniel represent an extraordinary group of young people from all across the Continent.
