Our online learning programme consists of four components: notes, recordings, interactive sessions and assessments.
Notes: Our students will receive, via their portals, a downloadable set of notes on each topic to be taught. The notes could be uploaded a day (or earlier) before the lesson date, thus each student can download all his/her notes for the day at once before the lessons start.
Recordings: The students will receive, via their portals, a downloadable recording (audio or video) that explains each topic. The recording could be uploaded a day before the lesson date, thus each student can download all his/her recordings for the day at once before the lessons start.
Interactive Sessions: The students and their teacher may have an interactive session as part of a lesson via zoom. Before this session, the students are expected to have copied the notes and listened to or watched the recording on that topic. During the interactive session, the students can then ask questions on the topic and if they do, the teacher will answer them. The teacher may also use the interactive session to revise the topic with the students.
Assessments: This is the part where the teacher tests the students’ understanding. This can be done via classwork (during the interactive session), computer-based test (CBT) and/or larger set assignments.
Please Note: The task(s) (i.e. notes, recordings, interactive sessions and/or assessments) for each lesson should be completed within the time allotted for that lesson in the current online learning timetable. Some larger assignments may need extra time and should be finished on Saturday mornings.
